Job Description

Are you a smart, proactive and savvy executive support professionalAre you cool-headed when things dont go to planCan you thrive in an environment that is constantly changingWe are looking for a superstar Executive Assistant for our busy Chief Digital Officer.Wellington City Council is a dynamic place to apply your exceptional executive support skills. The work is varied, fast paced and tangible. Our Smart Council (IT Business Unit) brings together key teams that enable us to deliver improved service and experiences for our customers and employees.Your role will be to ensure our Chief Digital Officer knows where they need to be, has the information they need and is able to get the things they need to get done, done.This role covers the full range of organisational and administrative duties including diary and inbox management, document and financial management, meeting co-ordination and correspondence, assistance with various projects, and making sure information flows effectively within the Smart Council teams, across Wellington City Council and with external parties. Youll also be involved with culture initiatives and providing a link to our People & Culture team for HR and recruitment activities.In this role astute networking skills are a must. Youll know how to deliver great customer service, and youll be a very organised person. Your ability to remain calm in a pressured environment will help you succeed. Youll be a natural with the MS Office suite, and have proven experience managing diaries, travel and emails. An understanding of budgets and project administration are also key.
