This role will support the day to day operations of the Maturity Support Team. The position will proactively identify situations or opportunities where data is needed about growers, postharvest, orchards, sample areas or block information to support the industry with their needs.Please note, that during peak season (February to June) you will be on a rotating roster, required to work some evenings and weekends. We have 2 positions available, both 6 month fixed term contracts from the end of January through to the end of June.  Accountabilities

  • Rapidly resolve grower and postharvest issues at first contact through proactive and detailed knowledge of Zespri’s business processes across all business units.
    • Update training material and provide ongoing support throughout the maturity season
    • Triage customer queries and know how to escalate if needed
    • Provide support for the MCS to help with any training or troubleshooting that is required by the grower or postharvest
    • Build and maintain rapport with all external stakeholders
    • Answer incoming calls and ensure that the MCS team resolve grower and stakeholder issues and queries within agreed key performance indicators    
  • Provide support to Team Leader in maintaining and updating master data from season to season.
    • Liaise with key internal teams to ensure there is data integrity throughout MCS
    • Update the Maturity Clearance Criteria each season
    • Understand the H&S protocols and how they can be impacted
    • Ensure sample areas are current in MCS following sample requests
    • Review and resolve errors with requests in the system​​​​​​​
  Qualifications & Experience  
  • Tertiary education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong customer focus with a “can do” attitude
  • Minimum 2-3 years customer service experience preferred
  • Highly developed computer skills (Word, Excel, CRM)
  • Kiwifruit industry knowledge strongly preferred
  • Experience with databases (e.g. SQL, SAP, Oracle) preferred
