Job Description

Skip sitting at traffic lights (there aren’t any here) and get on with doing the things that make life good.  The PositionMasterton District Council is looking for a Finance Administrator to fill this full-time, permanent position, based in Masterton. It is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take their skills and experience to the next level. Joining a small team of three, this position provides administration support to ensure that finance operations at Council are efficient and effective. Job Tasks include:

  • Process bank transactions
  • Monthly payments
  • Produce accurate reports
  • Data entry of leave and employment changes
  • Provide backup for creditors, debtors, and rates administrators
Job requirements:You need to have:
  • An eye for detail
  • Data entry skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel
  • Team player
  • Great communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proven confidentiality
