We’re looking for a positive, resilient and solutions focused team player to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this pivotal role sits within our Customer Services Team and is based in our open plan office at our manufacturing plant located in Wiri, Auckland. This role is fixed term from November 2021 to December 2022 (covering a maternity leave), 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and for the right candidate, we offer some flexibility around how and where hours are worked!Here at The Griffin’s Food Company, we’re proud of our heritage and being New Zealand’s largest snack food company, producing many iconic and much-loved kiwi brands, including Griffin’s, Huntley and Palmers, ETA and Nice & Natural. We’re looking for an experienced customer service star keen to be in a varied role where no day is the same, who will bring with them a genuine passion for exceeding customer expectations every day!The role acts as a key contact for both internal and external customers and is responsible for ensuring that these customers experience best in class service every time, whilst also ensuring processes are followed and tasks are completed within the agreed time frames.What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any customer/consumer queries (via phone, email and website)
  • End to end ownership of resolving/escalating queries within agreed timeframes
  • Accurately managing and keying in of orders, credits, declines, claims, promotional invoices and consumer complaints, and reporting when required
  • Ensuring all processed transactions are completed to resolution
  • Managing processes and reporting to ensure our customers receive their orders in full and on time
  • Demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset at all times
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Ideally, 2+ years’ experience in a customer or consumer services role, ideally within FMCG environment
  • Ideally, you’ll have an understanding of end to end processes when using a management system, ie: SAP, Oracle or JDA (an extra tick if you have used BroadWorks phone system)
  • Demonstrated experience in large volume processing of orders, credits and promotional invoices
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills – you love working with people and can build rapport quickly!
  • Confidence using the Microsoft Office Quite (ie: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Time management, organizational and multi tasking skills – having a few balls in the air at once doesn’t faze you!
  • Accountability – you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will!
  • An innovative mindset– you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and throw new ideas into the mix
  • Positivity and a solutions-focused approach– nothing is ever a problem!
