Job Description

Across our world-famous brands – Avis, Budget, Zipcar, Payless and Apex – were leading the way for the global mobility industry, with 11,000 rental locations in 180 countries.Immediate start available - This is a permanent Full-time (40 hour) position, which will be based at our Ellerslie Auckland Head Office conveniently located within walking distance from the Ellerslie train station.Reporting to the Credit Admin & Consumer Risk Team Leader, the primary role of this position is Administration and Accounts Receivable processing.ResponsibilitiesAside from general administration and office duties, the role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all NZ cash receipts (EFT and Credit Card) on to outstanding accounts and/or rental agreements, answering queries, maintaining databases and processing all driving infringements and breaches. You will be working in partnership with all stakeholders within the business; Collection Specialists, Finance/Treasury, claims, local authorities, parking companies, external debt collection service providers and our valued drivers to ensure prompt, professional communication and the retention of important client relationships.Required skills and qualities

  • Previous experience in accounts/admin and/or customer service
  • A solid knowledge of all Microsoft Products
Strong accounting systems experience and experience in Oracle is an advantageTo be successful in this position you will:
  • Have strong accuracy as well as speed
  • Be able to work well under pressure in a very fast-paced role
  • Be driven to achieve all set goals
  • Have strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Have exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to remain calm and professional even if faced with stringent deadlines
  • Be able to weekends when they fall at month/year end

  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn and take on new challenges
