 About the RoleCommissioning is a relatively new concept to procurement in New Zealand and this is a role working in a newly created department within our procurement team. You will design and conduct interesting and rewarding commissioning activities within the New Zealand health sector. You will be fully involved in the implementation and execution of the formal commissioning and sourcing strategies and plans- Essentially working the end to end process.You will:
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Develop and execute new and innovative strategies so that commercial and non-commercial values are maximised
  • Implement and execute the formal strategies and plans for commissioning and sourcing management for assigned categories
  • Identify and deliver sustainable efficient savings by driving improved value and reducing total costs of ownership primarily through commissioning
  • Define and monitor commissioning activity to ensure delivery of sustainable value to the procurement function
  • Implement strategies to capitalise on market changes and developments
  • Analyse spend data and identify commissioning procurement opportunities to reduce costs or increase value
  • Conduct needs analysis for procurement initiatives, (customer needs analysis and market analysis)

  • Contract management experience
